Antiphospholipid syndrome (also known as APS, sticky blood syndrome, or Hughes Syndrome) is a thrombosis or blood-clotting disorder in which autoantibodies are produced to a variety of phospholipids and phospholipid-binding proteins. APS thrombosis is also related to women's health issues, such as pregnancy comorbidities.
